The magnet weighs about 11 ton, and for that reason, it is important to protect the surroundings and the floor while transporting it from A to B.
Before the move, the floor was covered with fleece and with double load distribution plates. With combined forces, the magnet was then pushed on heavy-duty rollers from the examination room to the emergency department.
The move of the magnet went smoothly and it is safe to say that the overall dismantling project was a complete success!
